Visita delegazione studenti russi dell’Università MGIMO di Mosca (RU) all'Università degli Studi di Salerno

Internazionalizzazione e sinergie tra università: questo lo scopo dell’incontro fra una delegazione di studenti russi provenienti dalla prestigiosa Università MGIMO di Mosca e studenti italiani dell’Università per gli Studi di Salerno dell’associazione ASP di Scienze Politiche e Rapporti Internazionali, presso i locali dell’Ateneo salernitano venerdì 22 luglio 2016.

Un incontro – voluto da Gianfranco Macrì, docente di Istituzioni di Diritto Pubblico alla Facoltà di Scienze Politiche dell’Ateneo salernitano e da Francesca Romana Memoli direttrice dell’Accademia Italiana di Salerno – con lo scopo di realizzare un’attività di dialogo tra studenti per focalizzare l’attenzione sulle diversità del sistema universitario russo e di quello italiano. 

MGIMO è la più famosa istituzione universitaria in Russia per gli studi politici, diplomatici ed internazionali. Abbreviazione di Università Statale di Mosca per le Relazioni Internazionali è un'università russa fondata nel 1943. Attualmente ospita 8 facoltà e 4 istituti, dove studiano 4.500 studenti, compreso gli studenti stranieri. Si insegnano 53 lingue straniere e le facoltà principali sono: Giornalismo internazionale, Legge internazionale, Relazioni economiche internazionali, Relazioni internazionali e Scienze politiche. Per gli studenti internazionali, MGIMO è anche un luogo moderno e accogliente, e intellettualmente stimolante nella capitale russa.

La visita degli studenti di MGIMO all’Università di Salerno, è stata condotta dagli studenti dell’Associazione Studenti Scienze Politiche (ASP). I colleghi russi hanno visitato l’Ateneo ed in particolar modo il centro linguistico con la sua aula per l’autoapprendimento delle lingue dotata di 80 postazioni che aiutano i discenti ad approcciare al vasto mondo linguistico.

A seguire gli ospiti sono stati intrattenuti daPaola Attolino. docente di inglese alla Facoltà di Scienze Politiche, che insieme a Silvia Governatori responsabile delle attività Erasmus dell’Ateneo hanno illustrato agli studenti le prassi burocratiche di iscrizione e di esame in facoltà. Argomento che ha subito catturato l’attenzione in quanto sono emerse le differenze e le analogie del sistema russo e di quello italiano così da sollecitare tante domande che hanno trovato piena risposta nel confronto con i colleghi italiani.

Nella seconda parte gli studenti russi hanno visitato l’Ufficio Erasmus e hanno preso familiarità con il sistema di mobilità grazie al breve intervento di Fraiese Annanziata, capo ufficio Erasmus. A seguire non poteva mancare la visita alla Biblioteca, fiore all'occhiello dell’Ateneo, e alla Mensa dove gli ospiti russi sono stati intrattenuti con l’ottimo cibo italiano della struttura universitaria.  Le residenze hanno lasciato gli ospiti sorpresi positivamente per il confort e l’organizzazione.

La giornata è terminata con saluti istituzionali da parte dei docenti e

informali da parte degli studenti, che hanno subito colto l’occasione per un arrivederci moderno sulla base di selfie e scambio di contatti sui social networks.

L’obiettivo dell’incontro di tenere un momento di congiunzione tra studenti di nazionalità diversa che hanno avuto modo di incontrarsi in un’ottica di integrazione e scambio culturale, è stato pienamente raggiunto, dando una visione d’insieme della realtà formativa universitaria italiana e straniera. 

IN SALERNO ANCIENT TRADITIONS LIVE AGAIN ON 21st SEPTEMBER: ST. MATTHEW FEAST DAY

ALL THE WORLD AND ACCADEMIA ITALIANA CELEBRATE ST. MATTHEW  

A wonderful event takes place in Salerno every year on 21st September: all the inhabitants celebrate St. Matthew  (one of the 12 Apostles of Jesus and one of the 4 Evangelists),  patron Saint of the city, with a folklore parade in which the silver statue of the Saint goes through the streets of the  ancient city centre,  accompanied by other statues of Saints and Martyrs.

The procession starts from the Cathedral of Salerno, one of the most beautiful churches of the  Southern Italy, where St. Matthew’s relics are preserved,  and it  passes by the school building, where students can enjoy the feast all together from the balconies.

After the religious celebrations, an entertaining party with rides, markets and fireworks on the sea begins!

That’s Amore…

The Amalfi coast is one of Italy’s most popular, and most beautiful, destinations. And when it comes to where to stay in the Amalfi, most people—and guidebooks—have one big suggestion: Salerno.
It’s  convenient. It’s cheap. It isn't touristy. And it has a lot to offer, from museums to a big, central beach.
Unlike the other cities of the Amalfi coast, Salerno is on the main train line from Rome. That means you don’t need to change trains in Naples, or anywhere at all. And that it’s faster. 

The fastest train from Rome to Salerno is just 2 hours; slowest, 3 hours 30 minutes. Salerno is super-convenient for getting to other Amalfi coast towns, and you get more views of the spectacular coastline itself. And the chance to see and even stop in a couple of towns between Salerno and Amalfi Town that are completely missing from the guidebooks… but look every bit as gorgeous as their touristy counterparts to the west.

There are other cool places that are easy to explore from Salerno. Like this one.

Paestum, an ancient Greek city founded in the 7th century B.C., has some of the best ancient Greek ruins found anywhere in the world. Its Temple of Hera dates to 550 B.C. (500 years earlier than many of the buildings you’d see at Pompeii!)4. It’s also really easy to get to Pompeii.
Thanks to the train, you can easily reach also  Pompeii.  

Mount Vesuvius, a volcano near the Bay of Naples in Italy, is hundreds of thousands of years old and has erupted more than 50 times. Its most famous eruption took place in the year 79 A.D., when the volcano buried the ancient Roman city of Pompeii under a thick carpet of volcanic ash. Two thousand people died, and the city was abandoned for almost as many years. When a group of explorers rediscovered the site in 1748, they were surprised to find that–underneath a thick layer of dust and debris–Pompeii was mostly intact.

Salerno’s beach is big… and central. In Salerno, the beaches are much big. And they’re more convenient. They’re a stone’s throw from the historic center, so you can walk to them right from your hotel. That also means that they’re close to Salerno’s more-industrial port. To Salerno, tourists=lower prices. For everything. Dinner, coffee, etc.

Salerno is one of the most interesting towns on the Amalfi coast. Salerno is a local’s town. It’s easy to find a postcard (and the limoncello abounds!). But here’s just some of of the things you can see instead:Castle in Salerno on the Amalfi coast.

One of the best-preserved

 historical centers on the peninsula, characterized by medieval, winding streets. A castle, Castello di Arechi, dating back to the 6th century. A number of museums, including the Museo Diocesano, with works of art including everything from medieval illuminated manuscripts to 17th-century paintings by Caravaggio’s followers; the Pinacoteca Regionale with paintings by artists like Andrea Sabatini (who worked with Raphael in the Vatican); and the Provincial Archaeological Museum, with finds including a 6th-century B.C. crown of silver and gold. And all of the benefits that go with a town that’s not tourism-based.

 La Galleria del Carmine mostra i "Baci del Tempo" e ritornano le Piazze dell'Amore

Dal 7 Febbraio fino al 14 nella sarà inaugurata la  mostra "Baci nel tempo – tempo di baci", naturalmente dedicata alla festa di tutti gli innamorati. Ogni negozio, della zona Carmine di Salerno,  esporrà un'immagine fotografica che ritrae i baci più celebri della storia del cinema: da "Via col Vento" a "Colazione da Tifffany", da "Il grande Gatsby" a "Romeo e Giulietta". 

Mentre Sabato 14 febbraio, si aggiungeranno alla Galleria altre due installazioni “La fontana dell’amore” e “L’arco di cupido”, rispettivamente degli artisti Olga Marciano e Giuseppe Gorga. Si tratterà di due opere realizzate con materiali di recupero che saranno

collocate in piazza Sinno e in piazza Mons. Bolognini. La mostra proporrà anche una serie di dipinti di cui saranno protagoniste le opere di Vincenzo Caiella, in cui l'artista riesce a cogliere l'intimità della coppia nella purezza e nella passione dei due amanti.

Accademia Italiana – Italian Language and Culture Centre launches its new official video

The video has been shared on the Youtube Channel of Accademia Italiana and it was made to interest everyone seeing it. In fact, in a few minutes it tells with a sequence of photos everything which is Accademia. Besides the spacious well-equipped classrooms, the video shows ample space that is left for the many excursions and activities that are daily organized by the school. In the video, you can see the accommodations in host family and all the staff and teachers.

The Youtube Channel of Accademia Italiana is rich of videos-interviews of our students that are shared with the web and social networks during their holiday-study in Salerno, over a sequence of fun videos made during the activities and seminars.
